Step 1. Go to Finder > Applications and select QuickTime Player from the list of apps.

Step 2. Once the App is Open, go to the top of the screen click on File and select New Screen Recording.

Step 3. In the Screen Recording window, select the area of the screen you want to record.

Step 4. You can click on the arrow next to the record button to select the Show Mouse Clicks in Recording option or to select your camera and microphone.

Step 5. Click anywhere on the screen if you want to record the full window or If you just need to record only a part of the screen, hold the touchpad and drag it to select the portion of the screen you wish to record

Step 6. Click on the record button to begin recording.

Step 7. Click on the stop button to stop recording or you can use Command (⌘) + Control + Esc.

Step 8. Click on File then Save to save the recording or click on Edit if you want to edit your recording.

Here are a few tips for recording a good video:

– Find a quiet place to record. Background noise can be distracting for viewers, so it’s important to find a quiet place to record your video.

– Use good lighting. Good lighting will make your video look more professional and appealing to viewers. If possible, try to record in natural light. If you’re recording indoors, you may want to use a ring light or other artificial lighting source.

– Compose your shot carefully. Before you start recording, take a moment to compose your shot. Make sure that you’re well-centered in the frame and that the background is not cluttered or distracting.

– Edit your video. Once you’re finished recording, take some time to edit your video, you can use iMovie. This may involve trimming footage, adding music or sound effects, or creating transitions between scenes.
